We want to care well for the people we love -- especially when they are struggling. Carrying one another's burdens and helping others when they are down is important. By examining the difference between caring and co-dependency, you can hone your skills as someone who comes alongside people when they are hurting without over-functioning and allowing people to become dependent in unhealthy ways.
